About HERA

What is HERA Bathroom?

HERA Bathroom is a Singapore retailer specialising in freestanding bathtubs and bathroom vanities designed to fit HDB and condo bathrooms without renovation. The HERA bathtub range covers 14 models across six shapes, with sizes from 1200mm to 1700mm. Our showroom is at 601 MacPherson Road, #04-24 Grantral Mall, Singapore 368242.

Sizing & Fit

Will a HERA bathtub fit in my HDB bathroom?

Yes, in most cases. Our smallest model is 1200mm long and fits the typical HDB master bathroom comfortably. The full range covers 1200mm, 1300mm, 1400mm, 1500mm, 1600mm and 1700mm sizes.

The fastest way to confirm fit for your specific bathroom is to use our online Fit Calculator, or send your bathroom dimensions on WhatsApp at +65 8222 2978. You can also use our AR Visualiser to preview the bathtub in your actual bathroom using your phone camera.

Will a HERA bathtub fit in a condo bathroom?

Yes. Most Singapore condo bathrooms can accommodate at least the 1400mm or 1500mm models, and many can take the larger 1700mm size. Older condo bathrooms with very tight layouts can still take the 1200mm or 1300mm models.

Bring your bathroom floor plan or measurements to the showroom and our team will recommend the largest size that fits without making the bathroom feel cramped.

How do I measure my bathroom for a bathtub?

Measure the length and width of your bathroom floor area in millimetres. Note any features that reduce usable space, like the swing of the bathroom door or the position of the floor trap. Allow at least 50mm to 100mm of clearance around the bathtub for cleaning and movement.

Once you have those numbers, plug them into the Fit Calculator and it will return a list of compatible HERA models in under 60 seconds.

Installation

Is there really no renovation required?

None at all. Every HERA bathtub is fully freestanding and connects to your existing floor trap with a flexible drainage outlet. There is no hacking, no tiling, no waterproofing work, and no plumbing modifications.

The bathtub can be removed at any time without leaving any trace. This is especially valuable for renters and for homeowners who want to preserve their original bathroom finish.

What does the installation involve?

The HERA installation team delivers the bathtub to your unit, places it in the chosen position, connects the flexible drainage to your floor trap, and tests for leaks. The full process typically takes 1 to 2 hours.

You can usually start using the bathtub the same evening it is installed.

How long does installation take?

Most installations take 1 to 2 hours from arrival to completion. The bathtub is moved into position, the flexible drainage is connected to your existing floor trap, and the team performs a leak test before leaving.

Do I need a separate plumber or contractor?

No. The HERA installation team handles everything as a single service. The bathtub uses a flexible drainage outlet that connects to your existing floor trap, so there is no need to engage a separate plumber, contractor, or renovation crew.

Many customers schedule the installation around a normal work day.

How heavy is the bathtub and will my floor support it?

Each bathtub weighs between 30kg and 45kg empty, depending on the size. When filled with water plus a person, the total live load is approximately 300kg per manufacturer specification.

This is well within the standard structural live load capacity of HDB and condo bathroom floors. The load is also distributed across the full footprint of the bathtub, similar to how a sofa or a fully loaded wardrobe behaves.

Can I take the bathtub with me if I move house?

Yes. Because the bathtub is fully freestanding and there is no permanent installation, you can disconnect the flexible drainage outlet and move it to your new home.

Many customers treat the bathtub as a long-term investment that travels with them between rentals or property moves.

Pricing & Delivery

How much does a HERA bathtub cost?

HERA bathtubs start from $1,188 for entry-level sizes and go up to $2,188 for premium models. The full price includes free delivery within Singapore. Installation is charged separately at $120 to $300 depending on your bathroom layout.

Optional accessories like bathtub fillers, hand showers, and side trays are available at additional cost. See the full cost breakdown blog post for a typical total spend.

How much does installation cost?

Professional installation costs between $120 and $300 depending on your bathroom layout, drainage position, and floor level. The fee covers delivery into your unit, placement, drainage connection to the existing floor trap, and a leak test.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock models typically deliver within 5 to 10 working days from order confirmation. Delivery is free within Singapore. We message you to confirm a 2-hour delivery and installation window once stock is allocated.

Same-week delivery is sometimes possible for popular sizes; ask us on WhatsApp for current lead times.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayNow, bank transfer, credit and debit cards, and major e-wallets at the showroom and online. Selected products also support instalment options at checkout.

Ask the team in the showroom or on WhatsApp for current options.

Is there a warranty?

Every HERA bathtub comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults, covering the acrylic surface, internal frame, drainage components, and included hardware. Extended warranty options are available through the HERA Cares programme.

Warranty registration is automatic with every purchase, so you do not need to fill in a form.

Materials & Care

What material is the bathtub made from?

HERA bathtubs are made from premium acrylic with a reinforced internal frame. Acrylic retains heat better than steel or cast iron, is significantly lighter, and is well suited to Singapore's humid climate.

The surface is scratch-resistant under normal use and can be refinished if it picks up wear over the years.

Does humidity damage HERA bathtubs?

No. The acrylic body and reinforced frame do not corrode, rust, or absorb moisture, which makes them more durable in Singapore's climate than steel or cast iron alternatives. The same logic applies to our vanity cabinets, which use solid PVC.

How do I clean a HERA bathtub?

A non-abrasive bathroom cleaner and a soft cloth are all you need for routine cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals, steel wool, or abrasive scrubbers, which can dull the acrylic surface over time.

For deeper cleans, a paste of baking soda and warm water lifts limescale gently. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry to prevent water spots.

Vanity Cabinets

Are HERA vanity cabinets waterproof?

Yes. HERA vanity cabinets use a solid PVC body, not particle board or MDF with a coating. Water can sit on it, splash on it, and steam around it without causing warping, swelling, or peeling.

Both the vanity cabinet and the side column cabinet share this construction, which is well suited to Singapore humidity and the wet conditions of an everyday bathroom.

How much does a HERA vanity cost?

HERA vanity sets range from $378 to $738 depending on size and finish. The 40 series is $648 in Pine and Walnut. The 46 series is $738 in Birch, Graphite, Matt Black, Blanco, and Charcoal Ash.

Every vanity set includes a ceramic basin and soft-close drawers. Tap fittings are sold separately.

How much weight can the vanity drawers hold?

Each vanity drawer is rated for up to 30kg of static load. That comfortably holds full-size shampoo and skincare bottles, hair tools, toiletries, and cleaning supplies without sagging.

The soft-close mechanism continues to work smoothly regardless of how loaded the drawer is.
