What it means
A vanity is the cabinet that sits under your washbasin. It does two jobs at once: it holds the basin and hides the pipework beneath, and it gives you enclosed storage for everything a bathroom accumulates, from toiletries to spare towels. When people say vanity, they usually mean the whole unit: cabinet, basin, and drawers together.
The part that matters most in a bathroom is what the cabinet is made from. A vanity lives in a warm, wet, humid room, so the body needs to shrug off moisture year after year. HERA vanities use solid PVC rather than the MDF or particle board that many cheaper cabinets hide behind a laminate skin, because PVC does not warp, swell, or peel when water and steam get to it.
Good vanities also pay attention to how they open and close. HERA drawers run on a soft-close mechanism, so they glide shut quietly instead of slamming. If floor space is tight, a wall-hung vanity mounts off the floor to keep the room feeling open.

A vanity has to earn its place in a compact HDB or condo bathroom, so size and storage both count. The HERA range comes in 500, 600, 690 and 800mm widths in the 40 Series, and 600, 690 and 800mm in the 46 Series, and the 600mm 46 Series model measures 596mm wide by 455mm deep by 530mm tall, designed for standard HDB layouts. Every HERA vanity set includes a top of your choice, with tap and waste fittings sold separately so you can choose your own. Each drawer is rated for up to 30kg of static load, which comfortably takes full-size bottles, hair tools, and cleaning supplies. Sets range from $711 to $909 depending on size and finish, with the 40 Series from $711 in Slate Grey, Ash Wood and Brown Walnut, and the 46 Series from $810 in White, Slate Grey, Milk Tea Grey, Ash Wood, Grey Oak and Brown Walnut. Fitting is straightforward. The vanity is wall-mounted with anchor screws into your existing bathroom wall, and our team handles the mounting, basin fitting, and tap connection. Vanity fitting is typically scheduled together with a bathtub or accessories delivery to keep things efficient.

Does a HERA vanity include a basin?
Yes. Every HERA vanity set includes a top of your choice, picked at the point of order, from a ceramic basin (Apollo, Bcm or Helios) to Glossy White or Black Tempered Glass, White or Black Quartz Top, or Ash Wood or Brown Walnut Salena Top. The price shown covers the cabinet plus the top. Tap fittings and waste fittings are sold separately, so you can pair the vanity with the tap of your choice.
What is a HERA vanity made from?
The body is solid PVC, not particle board or MDF with a coating. Water can sit on it, splash on it, and steam around it without warping, swelling, or peeling, which suits Singapore humidity and the wet conditions of an everyday bathroom.
